Questions & Answers > Software for drawing or rendering in metering

I am thinking about doing some meter drawings and I wonder what software you would recommend for drawing cts and pts and switches and meterforms and related stuff. Your stuff looks great and I would like more professional looking drawings for myself. Thanks for help...

Hey Peetey!
I use Adobe Illustrator. I use it on a PC not MAC.
It took a while to learn, but I am very happy with it. There are other software programs, it's really a matter of preference once you find one that you can work in. Auto-cad is a convenient drawing software that is fairly intuitive for the user. We did recently purchase a new drawing software that we haven't had a chance to play with yet, but I can keep you posted on how it works. The nice thing about Ai is that it helps us communicate with our printing company to be sure we are "speaking" the same language when it comes to printing books (color-wise).
Good Luck, Let us know how it goes!

Anyone else have any drawing programs or suggestions for Peetey?
