I have an application where we are trying to measure 240V and 480V single phase 2wire lighting circuits. The applications are 200A. I am trying to avoid a 3S application with a CT and PT. Can a 1S option be used to measure these correctly?

Chris,
With the amperage of these loads you should be able to do both of these with a couple of auto-ranging 1S meters or with a couple of specific voltage 1S meters (240 and 480 volts respectively). I know that you know the current limitations of a class 200 self-contained meter so I am probably not telling you anything that you don't already know regarding using self-contained meters.
I am thinking that you don't want to do the metering on these installations with CTs and PTs because of the expense of doing them this way. So hopefully this will be of some help to you.

Take Care and Be Safe All Ways,
Brad
